In our current programme, we are working with a handful of different pups from local shelters. All of these dogs are looking for their forever homes and would love to share a little bit about themselves with you!
Meet Andy, an Africanus German Shepherd mix making him quite the handsome boy! Being about seven years old, he enjoys a more mature crowd compared to some of his other classmates. You’ll never miss a beat with this one around, as he is very aware of his surroundings. Andy is working very hard with us to learn new skills, proving wrong the saying “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!”
You can see Banjo’s personality shine through his picture alone, but we’d love to share more with you about this goofy pup. Banjo loves his people, especially when they give him belly rubs! He’s an explorer at heart, always looking to take in all the smells around him. Although he still has the energy of a puppy (despite being about six years old), he also enjoys a maturer crowd like his classmate Andy.
Brando is next on the list with his unforgettable smile. This happy boy has come a long way with training and is now the reigning champion of roll-over! Being such a star in the classroom, Brando would love to continue to learn all sorts of tricks in his forever home.
Don’t be fooled by his name, Hamster is a lovable pooch who is always up for a good game of fetch. While he may get super excited during the game and tire out quickly, there are nothing pets and attention can’t make up for! As much as Hamster loves his ball, he would also love a new companion just as much (and that’s saying something)!
Enthusiastic as they come, Harley is a beautiful golden lab mix and already quite a star in the program despite the short amount of time he’s been in it. He is very food motivated, which makes it easy to teach him new tricks! As an older gentleman, he loves a calm stroll, but he never gives up the chance for a good run after a ball or a cool down in the pool.
Quite the opposite of her name, Peanut is no lap dog, but that doesn’t mean she won’t try! This friendly girl needs a fellow meanderer, as she enjoys taking her time with things. Just as she has been patiently waiting for a forever home, she is looking for someone to reciprocate the same patience for her. She promises she’s worth it!
Pixie is an excited girl who gets along with all our youth big and small! She’s learning to focus all that good energy on the wonderful game of fetch (watch out Hamster you might have some competition!). This happy dog would love nothing more than an energetic companion to spend her days with.
Last, but certainly not least, is Ziggy! A fitful name for this playful pup. He loves his people, and does fine in most crowds as long as they can keep up with him!
Pictures and words don’t do these amazing dogs justice, you’ll just have to come to see them yourselves! For more information on any of these pooches contact us.
